Scenic Drives: The game drives take you through rolling savannah, acacia woodlands, and along the Tarangire River, offering breathtaking views and opportunities for close-up wildlife sightings.
Pick-up: Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, usually around 7:00 AM.
Drive to Tarangire: The scenic drive to the park takes approximately 2-3 hours. You'll pass through the Great African Rift Valley and observe the changing landscape, traditional Maasai houses, and local villages.
Game Drive: Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, you'll enter the park and begin your morning game drive. Your professional guide will navigate the roads and track animals, stopping at key locations for photo opportunities.
Picnic Lunch: Around midday, your guide will find a designated picnic spot, often with a scenic view, where you'll enjoy a packed lunch provided by the tour operator. A common spot is a location overlooking the Tarangire River.
Continue Game Drive: After lunch, you'll resume your game drive, exploring different sections of the park to maximize your wildlife sightings. The afternoon is a great time to see predators in action as the sun begins to cool.
Departure: Around 4:00 PM, you'll begin the drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
Drop-off: You will arrive back at your hotel in the early evening, concluding your safari adventure.
