Transportation: Travel is in private, state-of-the-art 4x4 safari vehicles. Day 1: Arrival and Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your private guide and driver. You will be transferred to your luxury lodge or tented camp near Tarangire National Park. After checking in and enjoying a gourmet lunch, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive. Tarangire is known for its massive elephant population and the iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for a sundowner, followed by a fine-dining experience under the stars.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (Fly-in)
After a relaxed breakfast and a morning game drive in Tarangire, you will be transferred to a local airstrip for a light aircraft flight to the Serengeti. This flight offers a breathtaking aerial perspective of the Great Rift Valley and the endless plains below. Upon landing, a new private guide and vehicle from your luxury camp will be waiting to take you to your lodge. The rest of the afternoon is dedicated to a game drive in the Serengeti, a search for the big cats, and a chance to experience the famous plains.
Day 3: Full Day in the Serengeti
Today is a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. You have the flexibility to design your day with your guide. You can opt for a full-day game drive with a gourmet picnic lunch or choose to do two separate game drives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, returning to the lodge for a hot lunch. The Serengeti offers unparalleled wildlife viewing, with opportunities to see the Great Migration (depending on the season), lions, leopards, cheetahs, and vast herds of herbivores. You might also choose an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise for an unforgettable aerial view.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a final morning game drive and breakfast in the Serengeti, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you up into the lush highlands and to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will check into a luxury lodge perched on the crater rim, offering stunning, panoramic views. The afternoon is yours to relax, perhaps by the pool, or to take a guided walk in the nearby coffee plantations. The evening will be spent enjoying the lodge's facilities and a sophisticated dinner.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a true natural wonder. The crater floor is a self-contained ecosystem teeming with wildlife. You will spend the entire morning on a game drive, searching for the Big Five, including the elusive black rhino. A beautifully prepared picnic lunch will be served by a hippo pool, a classic safari experience. You will ascend the crater walls in the afternoon and return to your lodge for a final evening of relaxation and a farewell dinner.
Day 6: Lake Manyara and Departure
On your final day, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions and large flamingo populations, this park offers a different and equally fascinating ecosystem. You will enjoy a morning game drive, followed by a final lunch before beginning the drive back to Arusha. You will be transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international departure, carrying with you memories of a truly luxurious and unforgettable safari.
